About Sean Collins
Sean Collins is the founder of Talent Mobility Asia and a seasoned international HR executive with over 20 years’ experience in helping global organisations manage their talent mobility programs. Sean’s experience spans the full spectrum of talent mobility, with particular in-depth experience in talent management and localisation strategies as well as tax and legal compliance.
Sean’s career covers both the service delivery on the vendor side as well as in-house mobility management on the client side. Starting his career with Crown World Mobility based in China and then Singapore as the Regional Corporate Services Director for Asia, he helped organisations develop and manage their regional relocation programs as well as consult on their mobility strategy.
Sean joined Microsoft in 2006 and moved back to Beijing to manage the talent mobility programs and Microsoft’s largest assignment population for Greater China. His many achievements include implementing a localisation and local plus framework, engaging with the talent organisation to develop a number of pioneering talent rotation programs, as well as leading a team to manage a multi-year permanent establishment tax compliance project with the Chinese tax authorities, for which he was nominated for the Microsoft CFO award. Sean moved back to Singapore in 2010 with Microsoft to manage mobility for the broader Asia Pacific, India and Japan region. Sean’s many accolades and awards whilst at Microsoft include multiple HR awards and the Microsoft Achievement Award for his volunteering contributions. He was also awarded the Best Mobility Program in Asia (Large MNC category) in 2012 and 2013 at the Expat Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) from the Forum for Expat Management, the mobility industry’s annual awards judged by leading experts and peers.
In 2014, Sean identified a need in Asia for more personalised and independent mobility consulting within the industry and decided to set up Talent Mobility Asia, to be able to share his expertise and knowledge in a more impactful way across organisations.
Sean is a designated industry expert and a regular speaker at industry forums, including the Deloitte Asia-Pacific Global Employer Services Conference, Worldwide ERC, Workforce Mobility Interactive and the Forum for Expat Management. He has also taught the Worldwide ERC’s global mobility talent management course, GMS-T in Asia and sits on the SE Asia Strategic Advisory Board as well as the Recruiting Committee.
Apart from China and Singapore, Sean has also lived and worked in the UK, France, Switzerland, Australia and Myanmar, speaks several languages and considers himself a true global nomad.

About Stephen Park
As Director Consulting Services, Stephen’s experience includes global relocations, international rewards, business immigration, employment tax, and labour laws. This experience stems from various roles as a strategic HR leader in an in-house commercial environment, as well as a trusted employment tax and international rewards adviser with EY Sydney, London and Singapore.
